Re: User only for changing WiFi password.

Is this AP in a private network just for that customer or is it for many people to access?

If just for that one customer then he should be able to log into it and change the password, if the AP is for many customers, then only the owner or admin should be able to change the password.

mahmoudkamel What version of router OS are you using? In the last couple of months a lot of the radius authentication systems have changed the way they handle security certificates.

I had this same problem a few weeks ago and after updating to OS 6.28 my system came back the way it should.

That is a long long link. I hope you have a tall tower to mount equipment on as line of sight will be hard. Open your browser, type in the IP address of your router/userman (15.16.9.1/userman). This will open a program in your router that will allow you to see and print things. This is also where you set the amount of money a customer pays for hotspot pay as you go. google mikrotik-userman for the manual.

If I understand what you wish to do, all that information is available in userman>users.

You can go to settings and select what you wish to see.

Once you set this, it will stay in the userman system until you delete it.

Why do you turn it off? Is this an access point for wireless? or a link?

Re: HOTSPOT HELP

I have found the answer to my problem in other places. It was two very simple settings that a NON Mikrotik cert. person found just using the same description of the problem that I posted here.

AND it did not take 10 days for an answer.

AND I did not have to give them any additional information.

Re: HOTSPOT HELP

"BILLING" (being payed by customer) works okey. It is the authenation to the system that is the problem. As for support 'close' to me, as long as it is on the west cost of USA, it would be better then needing support on Friday afternoon, placing a call that goes to some place that is any w...
