Re: PPPoE server performance and packet lose problems

3.7 beta works fine, as we can see for this short period of time: Packets: Sent = 4546, Received = 4546, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 6ms, Maximum = 478ms, Average = 8ms Before this I had 2%-5% loss on 200 packets. Re: EOIP over EOIP

Hi,

I have 1 EoIP with 4 RB333 and 1 more with 2 RB600 and working with no problems.

RB600 bonding 2 EoIP links and going to another RB600. RB600s connected with other EoIP. Only one EoIP between 2 same routerOS.

I just finished putting up a 14 mile link with 2' Dish Antenna's & RB600's each with a single XR5 card (no nstreme dual). Max throughput is around 30mbit tcp one way. I think you will find it very hard to get 40mbit full duplex out of the 333's. You should be able to achieve at least 27mbit ful...

MT has recommended that you run all clients and base stations that connect on the same version. This means everything on 2.9 or 3.x, but not to mix and match.
This can be real pain in the ass... Is there v3 rcX which is compatible with 2.9.X ??

It is not the pppoe - it is simple queue for each user, thats where the problem is. go to the "queue type" and increase size of the queue - it should solve the problem. What value you recommend? But there is the same values like in 2.9.x and in v3 there is about 2-5% packet loss when runn...
