Re: LHG 60G experience

Testing a point to multipoint setup. 4 clients all under 240 meters. Speed is great but disconnections are very often. In my experience if one link has poor signal -70dbm and it disconnects it caused all the other stations to disconnect just after the poor signal station disconnects. This behaviour ...

wAP have 3 channels: 58, 60 nd 62 GHz so is possible to make 3 PtP links that will not interfere with other.

Also is possible to make PtP link and this same channel but the links must be parallel and can not cross

Thanks. That's exactly the info I was looking for :-)

Re: Help me: Ptmp Problem

The beam from the antenna has a width and height imagine like the light beam from a torch.

Those UBNT sectors have a narrow vertical beam and a wide horizontal beam.

Also the antenna has a downtilt of 3 degrees built in so the beam will always be going down by 3 degrees even if mounted flat.

Possibly the tilt is wrong. The ubiquity sectors may have built in down tilt of 3 degrees. So you might want to check that. If the antenna tilt is too high or low the beam might be missing your clients.

Re: 6.5km 1000mbps full duplex design

I would reccomended to go with a licenced dual polarity 112 mhz channel. You can get 866mbps full duplex and you will have it guarenteed. Save the 5ghz for last mile and dont bother trying to do so much with unlicenced channels. I think you will never see the capacity you wish with unlicenced. It's ...

I watched the video and it looks pretty impressive. If the unifi has two ssid it more depends how the unifi is seperating the two ssid. It might be just putting both bridged onto the same lan port which would explain what your seeing. What you need to do is place each ssid on a vlan perhaps then on a mikrotik router you can route each vlan to a diffe...

Yeah you can ignore my first answer I think I misunderstood your question. I think the problem is that you don't want to masquerade the tunnel traffic as both are on different subnets so should work without the masquerade. Just masquerade the main Internet connection.
