OIDs in label only works with rOS?

Hello everyone,

I am trying to put information through OID's on the labels with non-RouterOS devices and it does not work.

With Mikrotik equipment works very well, but when I put other equipment is blank, does not give error or anything, but does not receive any information. Any ideas?

Changes since v6.38rc19:

*) Removed - Link label will not change colour on link speed change.
I understand then that the labels will become ever more to change color to increase traffic? It was a very useful tool when maps are minimized.

Sadly, its not negative cache time, the label can stay frozen like this for days :(

However, ROS_Command function had infinite negative cache time, that would explain that.
I will try and experiment if I can change that somehow.

I am guessing but I believe the issue is the dude sometimes fails to process a result but then remembers for 300 seconds. I messed around with this quite a bit, I want labels to show what time the outage started as well. The only way I came up with would require a unique probe for every device.

Also this is already solved by email so it is not worth trying to make it work. It would be a good feature though.

There are two settings buttons current map and global. Labels refresh interval is on "map" under the either settings button. ... opposite. If the dude fails to read a value it will remember that it could not read a value for x seconds.

Not in front of the Dude at the moment, but is there a setting to increase SNMP timeout? Do you think that will fix the disappearing labels issue? I do remember seeing a setting that controls the frequency at which the labels refresh, though that seemed to have no impact on the issue...

I am not exactly sure what you are asking, but if you are referring to the tx/rx data you need to set the link as SNMP (like any other), then select the appropriate device you want to pull the data from.
