If you notice:
When using a 5Mhz wide channel you will see 2 lobes (or ghosts).
When using a 10Mhz wide channel you will only see 1 lobe (or ghost).
you simply ultimately reduced the amount of interference between your sectors by going to a 10 Mhz wide channel.
Also you increased your range by 3db (a benefit).
edit: backwards… you have decreased your range. (a detriment)
