Honestly if kids think 100-200 Mbps is not enough for all their needs, check under the bed, they must be trying to earn some extra pocket money by running a torrent tracker or something.

could be promising, where/when it is possible injecting signal at the “central hub” of the electrical system (fusebox) could actually provide some serious bettering for distribution, at least in three phases circuits (which are nowhere to be seen in Italy but may be common in other EU countries).

Well, it’s interesting what the actual source of interference is in setups with powerline adapters. If you have access to the fusebox, then it’s probably pretty trivial to install a little band-stop filter on frequencies that you want to work with before all your TX/RX circuitry. If this thing does that, it may indeed be a viable solution to high-speed ethernet over power.
