Problem with RB411U FW 6.0 and Sierra Wireless Modem MC8092

The modem MC8092 in RB411U with FW 5.25 works good (internet navigation works!) using the LTE Interface (is running state):

I cannot use the modem with FW 6.0, the LTE interface doesn’t run and I cannot read the information in the LTE Info, the message box says: Couldn’t start -Configuration running. please wait!

WHY?

IS THERE A WAY TO USE THE MODEM AS A PPP-CLIENT INTERFACE?

I tested the MC8092 with FW 6.1 and it works! Great!
Now my question are :

  1. IS IT POSSIBLE TO USE THE MODEM MC8092 AS PPP-CLIENT?

  2. HOW CAN I CONFIGURE THE AUTHENTICATION MODE PAP, CHAP, MSCHAP1 & MSCHAP2 IN LTE INTERFACE (User and Password)?

I had the exact same symptoms, on both OS versions.

Turned out if I connect the external antenna, then the interface turns to “running” and connects flawlessly. :sunglasses:

The interface does not turn to running without the antenna connected.
