QUICK EP06-A setup

It took me WAY TOO LONG to get this running.
Every post about the EP06 was way too detailed about options and commands but no practical details.
With the help of Emils in support, I was able to get this up and running with NO tape and NO pc setup.
Below is the summary of getting this card running in about a minute.

After the second reboot… the card SHOULD just show up under /int/lte

BTW: Install ROS 7.1beta5

Some comments in 's

/interface/lte/settings/set mode=serial

[Wait for reboot]

/system/serial-terminal usb1 channel=2

[Ctrl-A is the prefix key]

very important info, @Sib, you also have some scripts for the quectel EM160? I am preparing the rbm11g

I create few one and for 160/502 are in progress for one person. Write me at Telegram and that way will be easier to follow that.

Now it’s in progress. I create a scripts for EM160 and EM50x/EG50x series. You can write again at Telegram, I not found chat with your nick.
You can monitor my KB from my signature, I will publish final version of scripts but if you have some idea then write to telegram.

nop… my card EP06-A do not show up… do i need to downgrade to to 1 beta5 ?
i am on7.9RC1

if i do /interface print
i get

Ok, so the only way I made it to work was
Tapping off the 4 pins that USB3.0 use

So looks like the Wap series only support USB2
And the SXT are USB3 PCIm capable
Can someone confirm this?

PD.
Is MT going to add M.2 slots to their LTE router boards?
The high end 5G modules do not use PCIm but the M.2 interface
