Let me present an issue I’m experiencing between two CRS326 switches that are connected through FO. The link is ok and negotiating at 10 Gbps, until a reboot of after a power loss. When the switches comes back from a restart or a cold start, there is no link. Disabling and enabling the interface doesn’t bring the link up.
The only workaround I found is changing the SFP module from sfp1 to sfp2 or from sfp2 to sfp1, which brings the link up again. The SFP modules are MikroTik brand, so I think there is no compatibility issues here.
Details of the interface in case it’s needed:
24 RS name=“sfp-sfpplus1” default-name=“sfp-sfpplus1” mtu=1500 l2mtu=1592 mac-address=48:8F:5A:DE:33:B7
orig-mac-address=48:8F:5A:DE:33:B7 arp=enabled arp-timeout=auto loop-protect=default
loop-protect-status=off loop-protect-send-interval=5s loop-protect-disable-time=5m
auto-negotiation=yes advertise=10M-half,10M-full,100M-half,100M-full,1000M-half,1000M-full
tx-flow-control=off rx-flow-control=off bandwidth=unlimited/unlimited switch=switch1
sfp-rate-select=high sfp-shutdown-temperature=95C
Has anyone encountered this strange behaviour?
Thanks in advance.
