What’s new in v2.3:

*) fixed CRS317: make 10G links more stable;
*) fixed “Allow From VLAN” on untagged packets with correct default vlan id;
*) LACP: fixed unstable aggregate link problem when partner had short retransmit timer;
*) CSS326 & CRS317: made 1Gb fiber SFP module work with auto negotiation;
*) CSS106: do not VLAN tag RSTP packets;

Hello, in RB260GSP(CSS106-1G-4P-1S) after update to version 2.3, all poe-out port is disable. In system tab board name appear to be CSS106-5G-1S. My switch is down please help. Thanks!

good news for me

I have the same issue here. I have tried upgrading/downgrading/reseting and from different ports on the switch but there is no more poe option.

I’ve got aRB260GS (CSS106-5G-1S) that after upgrade to v2.3 broke the PoE in (port 1). Doesn’t anyone there test this stuff?? And now I can’t go back to the version 2.0 it shipped with as its not available via downloads. AND the whole reason for using this particular switch was to remotely power it via PoE…geez

Also, the switch comes with default IP set to 192.168.88.1 Same as routers do, whats with that??? Why not set the switches firmware’s default IP to be .2??

Anyone know of location of SWOS v2.0 that can be downloaded?

How exactly is it broken? PoE-in is something that is supposed to work even before the OS is booted, so I’m curious in what way it may be broken by some software update.

Try these links: v. 2.0, v.2.2.

Good question, maybe someone from Mikrotik will chime in. Thanks for the links, I flashed it back to v2.0p as provided and PoE in on port1 works fine again.

Hello, PoE-in powering is independent from software. If the switch was not accesible after upgrade to SwOS v2.3, then it rather could be some connectivity or upgrade issue.
Now when backup SwOS 2.0p is loaded, upgrade to v2.3 should complete successfully.

Yeah, I can confirm that the 2.3 firmware kills the PoE output functionality. Downgrading to 2.2 makes it work as intended again.

How it is that this firmware is still General Availability?

I had a couple more of the same units RB260GS (CSS106-5G-1S) and as a test have flashed another one from shipped version up to v2.3 and PoE in on port 1 worked fine. I have not time to reflash the original problem unit that was fixed by downgrading to v2.0p as it is in the field.

How do i have to do to upgrade CRS326-24G-2S+ ? On tab “upgrade” it shows current version 2.0p and latest available versión 2.3, but clicking on “Download&Upgrade” tells “Could not retrieve firmware”. And on downloads page, the are two files, one for new RB260GS(CSS106-5G-1S), new RB260GSP(CSS106-1G-4P-1S) and another for CSS326-24G-2S+. But none for the CRS version.

SwOS for CSS326-24G-2S+ is also intended for CRS326-24G-2S+
