snmp would be wonderful :slight_smile: for devices being “tested” merely by a ping: Maybe it’s there somewhere, but I do not see method of setting some number of retries before DUDE classifies it as a failure.

how do I change the ping frequency. The alert window pops up a message if a device loses 1 ping and then when it comes back on. I’d like to configure this if at all possible?

No, we will not add this, because The Dude is made for RouterOS v2.9. And in v2.9 there is no need to change the Winbox port.

In next version you will be able to modify the ping probe settings: Retry Count and Retry Interval.
