Transparent web proxy

RouterOS Beginner Basics

I use MT mostly for firewall and web proxy. l learnt the basics thru the manual i downloaded.
I’ve not been bale to configure transparent web proxy successfully. I’ll always need to put proxy setting manually for all the clients IE settings.

Please let someone help me out.

Simply make a new DST-NAT rule with action “redirect” and that’s all.

[admin@MikroTik] > /ip firewall nat add in-interface=ether1 dst-port=80 \
\... protocol=tcp action=redirect to-ports=8080 chain=dstnat

Thanks for that quick reply. I did just that before , but it did not work on OS version 2.9.50. Does it have anything to do with version?
