One of our LHG-60ad links is only 100m long, so I had to manually set tx-power to 4 to get a stable link at the maximum rate. Unfortunately, after upgrading to latest stable firmware 6.43.2, the tx-power setting in CLI is no longer available. I tried switching to bugfix channel, but it’s the same in 6.42.9, latest firmware with tx-power setting was 6.42.7.
Why was the setting removed? Is it a bug? Do you plan to re-add it in some future version? Should I try the development firmware?
As you can see in the graphs below, before the firmware upgrade on Friday the rate stayed at maximum all the time, while now it hovers around 1 Gbit. All our other links are stable at 2.3 Gbit.
upgreade from fv with tx set to 15 to new firmware constantly rssi change 56 ..56. 56… 62 ..62 . 56..56..56..56..56..56…62..62…65..56..56…56.
( new terminal monitor 1s on 60ad interface)
in long perioid it looks like in the graphs
even if i set fixed tx sector, it still change the rssi value
I miss that option too. I have a link that is 900m long and the RSSI is fluctuating. Even the link goes down.
That there is an A-TPC active is clearly visible. But the programming of that A-TPC mechanismen is not good at all.
Every 30 Minutes the link goes down. But is not exactly 30 Minutes. Sometimes it is 1 hour and sometimes 20 Minutes. But it is not random in Minutes (1,2,3,4,5,6) it is fixed 60 Minutes or 30 Minutes ±10 Minutes.
