Feature Request: Multiple Ping/Traceroutes in Winbox

Thu May 05, 2016 12:56 am

Would be really useful to have multiple windows open so that when debugging we don't have to choose which endpoint to monitor. We can have 2 or even 3... If you need a limit 5 would be the far upper bound I could imagine.

Before that comes you can open more console windows and use multiple ping from them.

There should be also multiple torch, multiple wifi scan and other wifi tools.

multiple wifi scan and other wifi tools.
That's not really possible as it has to have access to the chipset directly... same how when you're running a scan it drops the connection/AP, Hardware limitation....
But Would love Multi Torch !

It's already possible. Just click the "New Window" button to have multiple ping / traceroute windows open at the same time.

Don't you have multiple radios? Each one is independent so there is nothing against to have access to them simultaneously by the winbox.
Haven't you tried the background scan, have you? It doesn't drop anything while scanning.
