We use central Mikrotik PPPoE servers to terminate customer traffic across various platforms (wireless, ADSL, VDSL, fiber).
We deliver each platform on a different VLAN.
Each PPPoE server is configured to see each VLAN so that if any PPPoE server fails...the user sessions can automatically start up on any other available PPPoE server.
It would be helpful for us to have the RADIUS accounting packets (some may like to see this on the authentication and authorization packets as well) to include the interface name that the PPPoE server is communicating with that username on.
This would make it possible to know which platform that user established that PPPoE session on.
Some others might want to the interface name to determine if the user should be able to authenticate on that interface...but that is not something I need.
Just getting the interface name in the accounting packets would help us.
