Is there any chance of getting multicast buffering over vpn tunnels, as with wireless links.

I have tied together 2 hex lites over pptp tunnel for sending a dTV multicast stream.
Now the problem is that the receiver side is using LTE connection, so the stream tends to drop frames at certain times. Multicast buffering could very well improve the stream quality. Any change on some distant future multicast buffering similar feature will be also possible over VPN links?

The "sender" part is sitting on a 100/100mbit fiber, receiver over 20/5mbit LTE link. Multicast stream is ~4mbps
Any pointers are welcome.
