Hi,

I'm trying to use the DHCP Server with the option 82 feature but I'm finding some problems.

In particular I'm using the remote id sub option.

Making the log, I see that the client send the relay agent infocorrectly, but the Server doesn't parse it.

I need this obtion because I heve to lease different networks to different client in function of remote agent id.

option 82 is added by the switch, why do you use it on DHCP Server?..

The option 82 is not added only from the switch...I'm using a pre WiMax device that add it.

I need to recognize the modem that send the DHCP request & lease to the PC connected to it the correct network.

I need different network for different modems.

I need the option 82 because is the only way to recognize the modem because the mac address is coming from the PC connected to the modem (the pc make the DHCP request).

Nobody??????????????????
