simple routing question

Thu Dec 02, 2010 11:36 pm

hi,

i'm running a RouterBOARD 532 and need some routing advice. on ether1, i have our satellite internet connection set up. it receives it's IP etc., via DHCP from the satellite. i have our LAN set up on ether2. it consists of a wireless router and several switches. the wireless router is not set up to be the DHCP server for the LAN, i currently have the routerboard set up to be the DHCP server for the subnet.

we recently aquired a seperate non-satellite highspeed internet connection that i would like to set up on ether3. i'm not sure what the best route to go from here is. i would like to have is both internet connections be shared by the LAN side, kind of like trunking interfaces from the 90s.

is this possible and if so, can someone please point me in the direction of an example of how to set it up?

tia,
dave

http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:PCC

There are other load balancing schemes and examples in the wiki manual.
