Hi, janisk

I know about what's been fixed in the latest build.
By the way, where is the file?

Best regards

Hi, janisk

I did remain of, "unknown", but I tried to apply to the machine.
I attach the rif file and screen shot just in case.

Best regards.

sorry, completely forgot, we are developing new feature that enables some HW stuff on the RB2011 (mind you tha tnot all rb2011 out there has it), so it will become even better than it is now. For the time being winbox is not capable to show the new switch chip designation. That is only cosmetic issue.

Hi, janisk

I understand that it's a display issue.
We are going to wait until it is fixed.

Best regards. :D

Janisk

Are you able to confirm to us if this is DDM support (which I believe is only available in the new HW revision) or something else?

If its something else can you let us know what it is?

Also which hardware / version / revisions do and don't have it?

Regards
Alexander

Excuse me, do the new hardware features include the ability to use vlan headers in the fast forwarding rules on switch 1 (atheros 8327) ?

At present I get this message on my RB2011:

if switch chip is displayed as "atheros 8327" it has no changes regarding it.

please create support output file (before that make sure that you are running latest RouterOS) and send it to us. Also, try to add rule via CLI.

Ok, I tried creating the rule from CLI and got the same message:
[admin@MikroTik] /interface ethernet switch rule> add vlan-id=70 copy-to-cpu=yes switch=switch1 port=ether1-trunk
failure: vlan-id, vlan-priority, new-vlan-id not supported for this switch
I'm running RouterOS V6.1 and firmware version 3.05

I've tried the 6.2 linked above, and on my RB2011UAS-2HnD the chip is showing as an Atheros 8327. It was displayed correctly as well in version 6.1.
The vlan rule gives the same error though.

As the message says, these options are not supported for AR8327 switch-chip. They are not planned in the near future.

But is is planned? If I'm correct, right now, it is only available on older routerboards, which are not even produced anymore.

Currently it is not planned. Those 3 settings are available only for AR8316 switch-chip.
