had a problem with my router today but I'm not sure if it was 6.16 rc12 that caused it or not.

This morning the ups that's connected to my modem and router was beeping for a failed battery so I disconnected it "was working before this". plugged everything into a surge protector and left for work.
when I got home noticed I didn't have a wireless connection

checked the router and it was on but unresponsive. the lcd was off

unplugged it and still the same.
tried the reset button and got the same.
winbox didn't show any devices

end up tftp recovering and I'm backup now

any ideas?
