Feature Request: SSID on NV2 Hide

Fri Oct 24, 2014 3:02 pm

For safety reasons, it would be important in NV2 hide SSID, in various scenarios, such as point-to-point links.
Include it in the new releases or from v6.21

Safety Reasons

- Most use RouterOS device, making it easy to display the SSID in NV2, which is visible and you can not hide.
- The point-to-point NV2, plus this would be applied to put the hidden SSID, not being scanned networks, and trying to connect to it, which may find it relatively easy or uncomplicated.
- In systems where the signal is emitted by a sectoral and other point to point in the same tower, confusion would be avoided, and would help to distinguish the point to point links and emission systems in same place or tower.

Advanced scanners will see your device, even if you "hide SSID"

To secure your link, use Nv2 encryption

I just want to know if you can include this option with NV2 encryption.
