Fri Jan 30, 2015 1:12 pm

You can add this feature in WinBox?

That would be great, by type of topic, in words, and when you have only one pppoe server for a very large network (for example), to filter and monitor a client or connection specifies only

Previously Log ffilter was not working correctly so it was removed. We are definitely considering implementing Log filter but it is not as simple as it sounds.
patrick7 - You can filter log through CLI. For example "log print where topics=interface,info" or "log print where message~"logged"". These are just an examples.

@strods
I know, but that's not an alternative to grep. Sometimes, I'd like to search for keywords in the whole output, not just specific parameters of a log (or multiple greps, grep -v, ..)

Or grep for IP adresses (ifconfig | grep 10.), routes, ..

Regards,
Patrick
