Permissions

Fri Dec 09, 2016 3:49 pm

Hi,

I am installing Mikrotiks and I want to work together with another company, to do that, I want to give him access to the Mikrotiks. But ,I don't want this company to see my Scripts, queues or another menus, Is there some way to don't allow him to access these menus? I have read the group secction in Mikrotik wiki, but any of the permissions that i can use with groups don't allows me to do what I want. I thought about use the "sensitive" option, but I don't know if I can add menus or something to the "sensitive" permission.

Sorry for my bad english,
Thanks you.

Thanks for answering so fast. I just read that page, and i have some problems with it. If i am correct, the other company can access the menus that I don't want if they access with another method that isn't Webfig, like Winbox. Can I resolve that someway?.
Thanks you.

In IP->Services you can change the default port of winbox (8291) to something else. Also the ports of ssh and telnet, or you can disable them.
Be careful not to lock out from the router.
Also you can make a new user with only read access.
