user manager: remove session - user still active!

Sat Dec 11, 2010 12:31 am

how come when i remove the active session of a user in user manager, or even disable the user, the logged in user stays active in browsing, up until he logs off. only then the user is unable to log back in when the user is disabled in user manager?

one thing must be noted is the fact that users connect by different RB's in the network...

so is there a command to send to all Routers in the network that a specific user is disabled, or session is removed to force it for session termination?

thanks,

Disabling/removing a user will not affect the active session.

If you are disabling a user, and they are still online and want to kick them off, you would need to do the following:

Winbox:

PPP -->ACTIVE-->Click User --> Click [-]

or

for Hotspot

IP-->Hotspot-->Active-->Click User-->[-]

This will terminate the active session of either ppp or hotspot

Who is online
