Anything below 5.0 suffers from poor design - not allowing self signup with free access.
And most (or all - not sure) of the 5.0 betas/rc's are just broken.
Between all the betas and rc's, it's confusing.
It would be nice if someone could post a comparison table showing the different ways in which each version is broken.
It's starting to remind me of dd-wrt, where every version has major bugs.
This is the reason I left dd-wrt.
And it likely will be the tipping point that will drive me from MT.
I have a sneaking suspicion that Ubiquiti is going to eat Mikrotik's lunch in Q1 unless they screw up badly with their release of their Unify product line.
All depends on whether they get the management connectivity correct, and if they support self registration correctly.
