User Manager Profiles

Sat Apr 30, 2011 7:08 pm

My APs are set to access A Usermanager router for Radius.
Have created a new 5.2 Router with Usermanager, imported a database from v3 user-manager and set an AP to use the new user-manaager.

My Users on the AP are now not authenicating, the AP`s radius log shows Profile not found error.
So within UserManager I created a default profile (of which there was none), then added that profile to one of the users.

This user now authenticates.

I opened a terminal window to attemp to add the profile through terminal, to find that this can not be done.
How do I script adding the profile to the users if There is no command line method to do so?

Do I HAVE to do this to 1000's of users through the Web interface?
You've got to be kidding me!!

The User manager Web interface does not correlate to the terminal commands either.

If I reset-counters from the command line, then print the user details, the stats are reset.
The web interface stats only reset if reset from the web interface.

This is a real problem as I have extensive scripting to integrate into an accounting system.

Bump...

Any of this going to be fixed??

How do I script the addition of users if I can not specify a profile in the script?

Why are there 2 databases for the statistics, one for terminal window and one for web interface?

Doesn't anybody else have issue with this?!?
