AP basic config

Mon Mar 16, 2009 7:45 pm

Hello there, i need the device with routerOS acting like a simple Access Point. It means only one network segment, simple clients connecting via wireless with WPA key and accessing to internet through the routerOS acting as a simple Access Point and a DSL router connected.

I am making circles with the configuration... it is not simple... i suppose that to get the configuration i need, i must do a bridge between the wifi interface and the ether1 interface but i can't success.

This is my enviroment:
dsl router (connected to internet) => 192.168.7.1/24
routerOS v3.10 (ethernet and wifi) => 192.168.7.9/24 and if two ips are needed, the other is 192.168.7.8/24

The dhcp server is active in the dsl router so it must be disabled on the routerOS.

How can I do this? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you.
