Dynamic BGP-VPLS Interfaces-Disabled?

Fri Oct 16, 2009 11:53 pm

Hello

I trying to accomplish redundant VPLS tunnels itno a L2 Area, so:

I have R1 as Route Reflector

R2 is connected to R1 via IP
R3 is connected to R1 via IP

BGP peering is active and VPLS is working,

I have created a VPLS Mesh among all 3 routers, where the VPLS tunnel is bridged in R2 and R3 into the same Layer 2 segment,

So the Dynamic VPLS interfaces on R3 appear disabled on the Bridge Port area...

Any ideas on how to achieve this?

Thanks

Gino

I'm not sure what you mean. Does VPLS interfaces appear disabled or you want them to appear disabled in bridge ports?

Basically what I intend to accomplish is redundacy to a Layer 2 Segment of a network via 2 redundat vpls interfaces like in the drawing

Did you get this figured out, Gino?

I see a lot of unanswered MPLS posts on here when trying to figure out my own MPLS issues.
