RB750 SSL Forwarding issue to external proxy

Wed Jan 19, 2011 6:49 pm

Hello,

I try to configure a Port 80 and Port 443 port forwarding to an external proxy.

For Port 80 it works, I configured:
1 chain=dstnat action=dst-nat to-addresses=95.172.68.147 to-ports=9400
protocol=tcp dst-port=80

For Port 443 it does not work, I configured
0 chain=dstnat action=dst-nat to-addresses=95.172.68.147 to-ports=9400
protocol=tcp dst-port=443
www and www-ssl IP services are both disabled on the router

Using Firefox manual proxy configuration behind the router everything works fine also for ssl on port 9400.

Unfortunately I have no idea what´s wrong with the configuration.

Thanks in advance

Can anyone help me?

It appears the to-port in both examples is 9400. In this case the first rule will work and the second will be ignored.

Try changing the to-port=9401 for the second rule to redirect to port 443.

Then any connects to port 9401 should be redirected to port 443.
