Router output traffic

Tue Feb 01, 2011 4:56 pm

Hi

I am having a problem with the traffic being generated by the router; all the traffic is being nated regardless of the destination; is it possible to configure the router to nat the traffic generated by it according to the destination ip address ??

for example if the traffic is destined to a private ip address ( RFC 1918) or multicast address it should use the connected interface ip address instead of nating the traffic.

Regards

1. Create Address List named RFC1918
2. Add Private networks to this list
3. Add a nat rule with source=any and destination address list=RFC1918 and action=masqurade
4. Move this NAT rule above the NAT rules you have created.
