export the Static IP addresses behind Hotspot into OSPF

Mon Feb 14, 2011 8:10 am

We are breaking a large flat network into pieces are moving from 1 gateway (RB1100) into a bunch of smaller hotspots gateways (450G and 411AH) which are deployed at our intermediate POP sites.
Because we have a combination of Static IP's and DHCP assigned NAT IP's we need to be able to export the static IP's into OSPF so that we don't have to renumber the entire network.
All static IP's are authenticated by Mac Address and static IP's areassigned by Radius.

What we need to do is export the addresses behind the Hotspot as Host routes (/32's) into the core OSPF area network. Which will include our edge router, and about 15 POP hotspots. We do not want to export the RFC1918 NAT space and will kill that with an export filter list if we need to.

As it is now, we cannot get the hotspots to export the static's in any capacity to the OSPF area.

Any thoughts?
