IPv6 mangle action: SET PRIORITY

Am I wrong or there is no way to change frame priority to IPv6 packets through firewall mangle?

I need to prioritize VoIP traffic on wireless interfaces, using NV2. For IPv4 I am using a firewall mangle rule that matches DSCP-EF (46) and sets priority 5. But I don't know how to do the same thing with IPv6 (and if it's possible).

Any advice?

Hi,

Just came around the same problem. I need to set 802.1p priority for ipv4 and ipv6 traffic. Is there any news on this missing feature? How did you work around this?

thanks
Marco

I see that in v6.9 this feature is still missing. Is it possible that we are the only two who would use it?

Hmm I also see this difference in mangle rules between v4 and v6. It may cause problems with QoS on IPv6 packets when they are forwarded on in the network, if the other devices do not use DSCP, but only CoS.

Maybe it is on the 'drawing board', but not implemented entirely yet.

Sad to see that this still hasn't been implemented.

I would appreciate priority in IPv6 mangle too :)
