OSPF issue w/ RB493G+RB493AH

Tue Oct 04, 2011 8:34 pm

Hello, I've got a weird problem with a RB493G and a RB493AH.

I have the 493G setup on a bridged network and access the internet and everything connects and works just fine.
I'm converting over to a routed network and here is where i start having issues.
I have both boxes setup to distribute the routes via OSPF (I will be doing some fail over when its all said and done) I can ping from the 2nd router, the 493AH to the internet and anything on the network. so that part seems to work just fine.
I can ping from the 493G router to any IP that's directly assigned to the 493AH, but cannot ping anything beyond that.
IE ether9 has an IP of say 10.10.10.10/24, and a PC thats connected to ether9 has an ip of 10.10.10.9/24 I can ping the 10.10.10.10 ip form the 493G but not the 10.10.10.9.

I'm new to the whole routed networking thing so I know i must be missing something very simple..

corrected. problem was with PCC not OSPF.
Had to make a list of all my local networks, and add a mangle rule that looks for src:local dst:local and doens't mark the connection and had to move the rule to the top of the list.
