What i want to accomplish is to tunnel from one end of the RIP network PC or MTik box to other MT that has PPTP server on it so the PPTP client and server are on the same Subnet. ( My goal is to have the client and server PPTP on the same subnet ex. 10.10.1.1/24 ) with RIP for now.


I could achieve my goal with static routes configured instead of RIP. WOrked with RIP it doesn't.


I configure client and server on each MT, and they work for a while few secons and then the client disconects i mean i can not log in to the client box. I have to 1st disable the server and then it lets me WINBOX the MT box which has the PPTP client. And 1 more thing, all the dynamic PPTP interface is propageted accross the RIP network.





I have my network set up for testing purpose right now.

I have 5 MTik Routers connected to each other ( 750 Boxes ) in chain layout with ports 1 and 5 used.


Is this possible? if yes how?
