I was testing the simple scenario multi-area network at http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:OS ... a_networks. The big difference was that I configured "/routing filter add chain=ospf-out prefix=10.0.5.0/24 action=discard" in the ABR R1, instead of in the R3 (which is directed connected to the 10.0.5.0/24 network). The objective is trying to do the filtering in the Area Border Router. This didn't work; even with the filter the router R2 was still receiving the 10.0.5.0/24 external advertisement... so:

- Is it possible to configure filters to not advertise some specifica LSA's in an ABR? ( The point is that the ABR maybe was not the origin of the LSA)

- Is it possible to filter some non-external LSA's at any point of the network? (I mean non-external routes which is neither static nor connected)
