TE tunnel for voip

Mon Mar 18, 2013 11:39 pm

Hi

I am following this example. http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Simple_TE to achieve my voip traffic to go through one direction and normal data through another. I have successfully setup as per wiki. tunnel works great. However i only seem to be getting tx but not rx over the voip te tunnel.

Any ideas what i am missing.

TE tunnel is unidirectional. To forward VOIP on both directions you need to make two TE tunnels one in one direction other in reverese direction.

Hi

How can the traffic be classfied in VOIP and DATA in order to send it to a specific TE tunnel? With IP firewall mangle?

It is necessary create another vpls tunnel for the VOIP TE Tunnel? Or vpls tunnel only is necessary when bridging is being using?

Thank you
Regards
