Hello,

I have 2 routers for 2 seperate LAN networks. They are interconnected over the internet by PPTP link.

I have finally got PIM to work between the two networks.

The solution was to set the RP on each router to e.g. Router B.

Previous configuration had RP on both routers set for Router A. I am unsure why this did not work.

Would there be any obvious reason for this?

I am just curious.

Thanks for any input. I can post configs if needed tomorrow.
