OSPF NSSA Zones

Tue Jul 23, 2013 11:14 pm

I've been dreading asking this because I've had experience with this in the 3-4.x days and it wasn't pretty.

I need to connect a sister company of ours to our network , and would prefer to use NSSA's as I need to inject some external routes of theirs into our network. There are 2 WAN connections connecting to this site (fiber/wireless) , and whilst throwing some static routes will work I want to potentially avoid getting calls 2AM from my boss asking to reroute traffic as some moron has dug up some fiber (Don't ask . Human stupidity at the place I work at astounds me from time to time).

Doing routing via OSPF will help me immensely because there are potentially 5 other sites of theirs I need to connect like this.

Does anybody here have good 5.x experiences with NSSA's ? I've done VMWare tests and they seem to be functioning fine for the most part , but some assurance by any of you would help me quite a lot before I prototype and install this system.
