Hi, I hope somebody can advise?

With two BGP border routers each peering with different providers/peers and peering internally transiting a /21 in a ring configuration. And with several internal routers on the ring each using a /24 from the main /21.

Is it possible to use static routes from the BGP routers to smaller internal routers that can't handle BGP from both border routers so the internal routers just have two gateways?

Is this possible with the same static routes from each BGP router. For example when the internal router starts to use the other BGP router without BGP will it work or would I need to run BGP across the other internal routers as well?
