OpenFlow

Wed Nov 20, 2013 3:14 pm

Hi,
I'm interested in OpenFlow features in RouterBOARD .
So, I've checked the OpenFLow features .
But, it seems that it doesn't work in properly in the latest version "6.6" .

Could you checked my slideshare as following .
(Slideshare: Evaluation of OpenFlow in RB750GL)
http://www.slideshare.net/ToshikiTsuboi ... in-rb750gl

I'm looking forward to deploying the product version for OpenFlow .
Best Regards .

I too am looking forward to OpenFlow as part of RouterOS. In the meantime, does anyone has experience with installing Open vSwitch or LINC switch on e.g. the CCR1036 device?

A few comments regarding http://www.slideshare.net/ToshikiTsuboi ... in-rb750gl

1. The n_buffers == 0 doesn't imply packet-in is unsupported. It means the packet-in message must always include the packet.
2. The flow stats problem resembles one of the problems I have filed as a bug before.
3. There's a number of other outstanding OF issues in RouterOS.
4. You can also use a recent version of tcpdump to decode OF1.0 conversation.
5. I'd be interested to know your OpenWRT OpenFlow setup.
