Hello!
I have a set of routers which are connected to a LAN. In each router there are several networks (eg a.b.c.d/24 or /25 or /26 ...) servicing customers. In order to simplify management (now every router has static routes to all router's networks) I plan to use RIP or RIPv2. The problem is that some routers also have a PPPoE server so there are automatic routes a.b.c.d/32 for each pppoe connection which are already advertised by RIP causing the routing tables being too big. I don't want to advertise the /32 because there is a more generic network (eg. /26) which includes these.
I suppose this can be accomplished by any kind of filters but it is not clear to me.
Can anybody please give some advise or directions on this?
Thanks!
Antonio
