OSPF VPLS prevent falling

Fri Mar 28, 2014 8:50 am

Hi guru's,

I've implemented a full ospf network on our network. I really take care for route summarization to have the smallest route table as possible (about 74 routes).

Is there a way to prevent VPLS tunnels to fall on the subtrees when I do a change on a base point to point wireless link ? It takes approximatively 20 second to bring the vpls.

I already try to:

- make static MPLS neighbor
- make static OSPF interface with small hello and transmit timer
- use BFD with default settings...

Any idea welcome.
Best Regards,

The old disable-running-check setting on wlan interfaces is a good way, shame on me :)
It get rid of OSPF calculation and link brings down/up without disconnecting VPLS tunnels when making changes on frequencies...
