Creating/getting images. How?

Mon Jul 20, 2009 7:55 pm

Dear all,

First excuse me for the basic question but, how I create the images? I mean, my intention is to use a light web server based on Debian running on a Routerboard in order to show simple html pages informing about payments, maintenance shutdowns, etc.

Once I have the Debian configured how I create the image? I need to install all in a Xen instance and somehow create the image?

In the other hand. Where is the repository of images that users have sent to Mikrotik? Is the open-wrt image the only available for downloading?

Thanks,

Miquel.

Thanks Chupaka,

But my intention is to install all this on a Routerboard. My question is about the process about creating the image. For example, I should install a Debian on a RB450G or on a PPC, install the web server packages, make it run and then... How I get the image from the HDD of the RB450G?

I also accept suggestions about the web server. I am thinking about using Cherokee, a very light web server.

Regards,

Miquel.
