Where are people getting their Metarouter repository from?

Sun Aug 23, 2009 1:42 am

Tried using Mikrotik's Metarouter image. Works but the Metarouter repository from OpenWRT is unavailable.

Tried building my own image: same deal.

One can build these packages manually but is this really the only option? It's one slow way of getting an application!!!

pantele has used a different architecture flag on his images, so these aren't compatible with the standard patch.

Does anyone have another source?

tajson: Many Thanks for the image you uploaded, i have hand soo many problems trying to get WifiDog working because pantele has used a different architecture flag. your images works fine but i am in need of two packages:

kmod-ipt-nat-extra
iptables-mod-nat-extra

These dont apear in your repository and when trying a generic MIPS package it asks to install the ARxxx kernel.

Do you have these or could you tell me how to produce them?

Thanks again

you can check openwrt guides on how to build packages. Also, you can download tools required for that from openwrt home page and fetch all required stuff on the fly.

Not, still not have a success compile to mr-mips arch. I finally got a srelay_0.4.8b3-2_ar71xx.ipk. In .config I check 'snow' in section 'mikrotik' but with this instruction http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howtobuild/single.package I got just for ar71xx.ipk
Somebody help me with this cross compilation. Im very new in this.
I need 2 packages for mr-mips arch - srelay and redscoks. Thank you
