hello every one

i installed kvm on one of our servers ( Dell power edge 2950 ) with dual cup's quad core , i create 2 images and now there are 2 guests running fine without problems , but my question is when i set the cpu-count option = 2 it didn't show me that the guest has 2 cpu , when i view system resources the cpu count is 1 and i also check the system hardware option and it's set to use multi cpu ??

so any one know what is the problem and why the guest don't show more that 1 cpu ??

make sure you have kernel="/boot/vmlinuz-smp" set other way, non-smp kernel is loaded no matter what are settings set in guest.
