unsupported-cpu after first reboot

Wed Jan 05, 2011 1:52 pm

Hi,

I have installed mikrotik 5.0 rc7 on an Intel Server with Xeon CPU which Vt support enabled by bios. My problem is, I am getting the unsupported-cpu error message.

At the first time, My KVM guest was working properly, I had started and shutdown my KVM Guest several times without any problem until reboot the Mikrotik Host in first.

After the first reboot of Mikrotik host kvm guest is not working anymore, it gives me unsupported-cpu, but cpu supports virtualization.

I also installed same and older ROS versions to another board and tried again. But got same results in evertime... Everthing is ok until rebooting the mikrotik host. After rebooting, kvm guest not working with unsupported-cpu error message.

Here is my KVM configuration,

/kvm
add cpu-count=1 disabled=no disk-images=hda:hgwros.img initrd=initrd.img \
kernel=vmlinuz kernel-cmdline="root=/dev/hda1 console=ttyS0" memory=1024MiB \
name=hgw snapshot=no vnc-server=0.0.0.0:1

And the message when I try to restart KVm guest.

[admin@MikroTik] > /kvm start hgw
host cpu does not have virtualization support or it is disabled in system BIOS
