I've just setup a MetaRouter on my 450G... it has a simple config with two static interfaces, a gateway and LAN interface running dhcp-server serving clients on the LAN interface.

When I am connected to the MetaRouters LAN interface should I be able to access the webfig? So far I have not been able to ssh nor webfig into the MetaRouter. I can simply console in from the host.

In presentations regarding MetaRouter it discusses using the virtual/guest router for customer control - surely this would be done with Webfig?

you have to have interface through what you want to connect to your guest OS. In this case on the host create virtual-ethernet interface (or us static interface for guest) and assign it to guest, so it can be connected through network. set up routing or NAT and addresses and you are good to go - all management features of RouterOS are available.
