Scheduler preset time resets at every reboot

I would enquire if there is an logic bug in RouterOS 2.9.38 "Scheduler" module?
I notice once the scheduler is setup to perform a daily task on a specific time it seems to goes off set and changed to a wrong time and date period of execution the next time the RouterBoard is rebooted.
Could you please analyse if there is a programming bug in this scheduler module.
One more thing I notice my RouterBoard system time and date would reset to Jan 01 1970 at every reboot!
I had to use the NTP Client module to syncronised with the global internet clock every time to stay syncronised.
My question is why can't the RouterBoard retain the system time clock? I guess it might not have a system timer build in with a battery run it's timmer.
Correct me it I am wrong on this findings?
Regards,
Rodney
