ssl certificate

Fri Dec 15, 2006 1:55 pm

Hello forum,

I use some certificates ssl.

When I use only one certificate I does not have any kind of problem.
I follow these steps:
- The first step is upload this file to MT FILES (no problem).
- The second step is import this file in MT CERTIFICATE, I select this file and write the passphrase(ok).

My problem is when I use some certificates.
In this case I use a folder wtih my files of certificate "folder_certificate".
- I have not problem with the first setp, I can upload the folder without problem.
- My problem is when I use the command IMPORT of CERTIFICATE, I can not select my folder"folder_certificate".
I have the same problem if I select one of the files inside this folder. In both cases the MT does not generate the certificates.

I must put all the files certificate in the root directory "/" in FILES??

Thanks

I found the same thing. Certificates have to be in / to work.

thanks bjohns

I have another problem with the certificates. Bjohns, has you the same problem?

I am creating script to update all my MT. I export all MT configuration and I create a rsc file.

I have the following problem to insert my SSL certificates. After uploadig the Certificate files, I execute /certificate/ import command in certificate section. However, when I do this action, MT ask me for the paraphrase and it is an interactive mode.

Is there any way to insert some commmand or option in my rsc file in order to avoid this request?? My goal is automatize all update with my rsc script.

Not sure about that one, I manually apply the certificates.

Best ask in 'scripting' - I would hazard a guess that an expect script of some kind would be used.
