anything mikrotik related. you could show us your installation towers, or how you set up your antennas - as long as it's interesting to the mikrotik users, it's good !
Videos about The Dude are also welcome, simple tutorials and stuff like that. Just make sure the small details can be seen in a small window, like we have now in the Tiktube site.

O.K. I've got it, but since I have no experience with uploading videos to "tube sites", I need a hint abot format and size of file to be uploaded, so it will be viewable and downloadble without a pain.

you can upload any format in reasonable size (500Mb is still fine). We will convert them ourselves. go here to the form: http://www.tiktube.com/upload/
anyone else who wants a Level6 license, head down to your server room and make a similar interesting video! This months topic - server rooms. So who wants free licenses?

Is there any need to provide video with callouts (text comments in video)? We have already send such video with comments and now we are waiting for an answer.

It is very good Idea, Normis Thanks, Can I view those videos, in order I want to Upload some Videos wich are taken in my server room and on the roofs, where we have installed Mikrotik AP-s and CPE-s. After Uploading the video, when can I get level 6 license and how? Thanks For good suggestion, I think it'll help us to purchase one level6 or maybe ... Normis But can we have 2 level 4 licenses instead of one 6 level, because I am going to install 2 new routers, and I'll be glad if you give us 2 level 4 licenses ,
Thanks with Best Regard Karo Aznavuryan

The above offer for a level 6 license is not entirely true. I uploaded 2 videos from my tower and received the following response:
Quote:
Hello,
thank you for the video, but to qualify for a license it needs to be a little longer. 1 minute is absolute minimum to receive a L4 license, best and most interesting videos get L6 licenses
Normund
Notice that no where in this thread are any of those requirements explained. Twice its said that anything interesting that is Mikrotik related. I guess this falls under the too good to be true.

you uploaded multiple short clips, as explained on the tiktube site, this just won't do. is it really that hard to do what others did? see examples that have made it onto the tiktube site.
if your 1:02 minute video will be exciting and interesting, you will still get a L6 license. it's a 250$ saving, so it's really worth thinking of something interesting.
by the way, requirements are explained on the tiktube site.
It is not hard to do. I actually planned already to do a short tutorial on setting up a remote, solar powered, relay tower. I actually figured mine out by trial and error. My problem is not with the value of my work vs. the value of the license. My problem was with the incomplete statements all thru this thread. If I offered "Disney vacations with your visit to our store" and then after the visit informed my customers that "multiple visits are required, lenght of vacation subject to terms and conditions not listed in the original offer ,..." People would get mighty pissed.
I did not see the explanation on the tiktube site. Even though I was there several times yesterday. I dont know when it was added, but am glad the "term and conditions" are fully explained now.
You guys do have an extremelly valuable product. And now that I know what the challenge is, will try again.
Ive posted a video of my setup, i tried uploading the smaller version but it wouldnt take, so i uploaded the uncompressed version. but the smaller version is here on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jDjstFIxp5I
I have some problems to because i have compres my avi file wich is 520 mb to smaller mpeg but i can't upload it. I have just start to upload file 520 mb avi.
I posted my video 2 weeks ago, I e-mailed support twice, still no license, what gives? video: solar towers, user: rarbolay, e-mail: rey.arbolay@mywisper.net
